Cristiano Ronaldo seems to have gotten a major win over Lionel Messi as far as transfers  are concerned heading into the summer’s market.

Paris Saint-Germain winger Neymar is a wanted property in the transfer market given his desire to leave the Ligue 1 after just three seasons. The Brazil international’s stock has been reduced to 165 million euros by his side who has had its fair share of financial struggles as a result of the coronavirus despite the highly-liquid Qatari funding.

Barcelona and Real Madrid have been monitoring his progress since a long-time and neither of the Spanish giants have hidden the fact that Neymar’s signing is a dream move for their respective ambitions. However, very lately, Juventus have been involved among the rumour mongering and are now thought to be in the running for the former Santos winger.

Don Balon claims that Cristiano Ronaldo is playing the role of a convincing figure in a bid to land the multi-dimensional ace at the Allianz Stadium. Despite playing for the fiercest rivals in Spain, the Portuguese and Brazilian superstars share a very good relationship and Juve has been made to look like an interesting project for Neymar by the ex-Real Madrid marksman.

In a bid to land a prime target, the Bianconeri are willing to offer an almost like-for-like replacement in the shape of Paulo Dybala for what could be a convincing swap deal from the Parisians’ as well as Turin-based club’s perspectives. That said, Barca’s rigid financial situation will tip the tide in Juve’s offer as they can meet PSG’s and Neymar’s financial needs.

Lionel Messi is certainly going to be livid at the Camp Nou’s senior figures in case the Catalans end up missing out on their ideal target, but they have seemingly made Lautaro Martinez a priority and are no more pursuing their former man as relentlessly as some months ago. The 28-year-old will be a super signing for the Old Lady of Turin and benefit himself too.

Neymar’s ambition of becoming the world’s best player is no secret, but at Paris that seems to be beyond him given the number of distractions in a big city in addition to a lesser competitive league. Plus, Juventus are more likely to win the Champions League in the near future than Barca or PSG, and that may be something the player would consider in addition to their domestic monopoly.
