Juventus DM Rodrigo Bentancur

Lining up as the center midfielder right at the heart of everything for the Bianconceri, Rodrigo Bentancur can have a statement game against Milan. Although the Black and Whites are still building their defense and have eyes on players like Maurizio Sarri’s long-time protege Jorginho, Bentancur is one of the club’s most valuable players and will remain a crucial part of the midfield.

Despite bursting onto the scene relatively recently, Bentancur has led all Juventus players with six assists in the 2019-2020 Serie A season. His energy and technical quality help the club so much, and he will be a crucial player against Milan.

Juventus CM Sami Khedira

The microscope will also be on Sami Khedira in midfield, as he’s slated to start with both Aaron Ramsey and Miralem Pjanic expected to miss the game as they continue to work themselves toward match fitness for the return of Serie A.

Khedira was once a great player for Real Madrid and the German national team, but, at 33, his best days are clearly behind him. When he isn’t missing time with injury, Khedira just doesn’t look like his usual, world-class, full-of-running self in midfield.

That said, his reading of the game, football IQ, and technical qualities have not escaped him with age. All Khedira has to do is provide shape and defensive interventions to help Juve rule the midfield against Milan.
