4. How much will Douglas Costa play?

Douglas Costa was an important part of Juve’s attack on Friday, and it was wonderful to see the Brazilian winger back on the pitch. He is one of the best pure wingers in Serie A, as he can take defenders on and deliver great crosses into the box. His bag of tricks on the left side can leave defenders stunned; Costa is able to find space where it didn’t seem to exist.

Costa will be crucial in helping Cristiano Ronaldo play to his full ability for the rest of the Coppa Italia, Serie A, and Champions League seasons. He has been the missing link in so many ways, but he is still adjusting his return to football from injury.

Although he was substituted against Milan, it will be interesting to see when he is able to play the full 90, given his importance to the team. He’ll probably be subbed again, but how much will he play against Napoli?

5. Can Bernardeschi be a super sub?

Federico Bernardeschi was one of the first players on the pitch when Maurizio Sarri made his ill-advised triple substitution in the second half vs. Milan. While Bernardeschi didn’t make his desired impact on the game and had some wayward passes, he did show his technical quality with some exquisite touches and worked hard.

It has been far from an ideal 2019-2020 season for Bernardeschi, who could be sold to the Premier League or used to acquire someone like Arkadiusz Milik in a player-swap. But until the summer transfer window begins, Bernardeschi has a chance to play a crucial role for the Bianconeri off the bench and show that he deserves to stay.
