Here are five Juventus players who need to be at their best at Bologna.

After failing to capture the Coppa Italia, Juventus will focus their full attention on the Serie A title race with rivals Inter Milan and Lazio. Their first game at the restart will be against Bologna, who are an exciting attacking team but have weaknesses defensively that the Old Lady can absolutely exploit.

Nothing less than three points will be acceptable to the fans, and Maurizio Sarri is surely feeling the heat. He will need these five players to shine on Monday night.

Miralem Pjanic is expected to sit on the bench after a reported issue in training, and he’s fully expected to head out the door this summer. Pjanic was a liability in the recent Coppa Italia games, and it’s clear Rodrigo Bentancur needs to get a chance as the regista to see how he fits the role.

Bentancur is one of the best midfielders in Serie A and by far Juve’s best midfielder right now. He showed his quality in the Coppa Italia, particularly in his energetic display vs. AC Milan. The Uruguayan is also the Old Lady’s leading assist provider in Serie A so far this season with a total of six assists.

If he can play at a high level on Monday night, Bologna will be in a difficult spot.
