Juventus vs. Lecce Player Ratings: Douglas Costa changes the game
CF Paulo Dybala
Among the attacking players who started the game for the Old Lady, Paulo Dybala was the most effective. He has been the true star man for the Bianconeri since the restart, and he scored another fantastic goal from just outside the box. Dybala’s shooting accuracy and vision in the final third are a class apart.
Rating: 7.5 out of 10
RW Federico Bernardeschi
After tearing Bologna apart as the best player on the pitch, Federico Bernardeschi had a far worse performance vs. Lecce. Bernardeschi was not on the same page as his teammates, as he was frequently offside and wasteful in possession. He did not distinguish himself as chance creator or goal-scoring threat on Friday.

RW Douglas Costa
Douglas Costa was the Man of the Match against Lecce, there can be no doubt about it. The experienced Brazilian entered the game as a substitute in the second half, and Juventus scored one minute later. They ended up winning 4-0 after scoring zero times before Costa’s inclusion, and that isn’t by accident. Costa is a skillful, hard-working attacker who keeps possession, wins dribbles, and gets everyone else involved in the game. Juve need him to win more trophies than just Serie A. In one half, Costa had five key passes and seven dribbles completed. Magnificent.
