Juventus will not have Paulo Dybala and Matthijs de Ligt available against Milan.

On Saturday, Juventus put on a show against Torino at the Allianz Stadium, defeating their derby rivals 4-1. Star forward Paulo Dybala opened the scoring in the third minute with another great goal, Juan Cuadrado made it two, and Cristiano Ronaldo stole the show by finally scoring a free kick on his 43rd try.

But when Juve face a tough Serie A club in Milan on Tuesday, they won’t have two of their best players since football’s return in Matthijs de Ligt and Dybala after both picked up yellow cards against Torino.

So these five players must step up.

CB Daniele Rugani

Juventus center back Daniele Rugani had COVID-19, but he has recovered and is ready to make his return to the starting lineup. Giorgio Chiellini and Merih Demiral remain out with injuries, but it’s a good thing the Bianconeri have one of the best fifth center backs around in Rugani.

He could be sold this summer as surplus, but Rugani has a chance to show on Tuesday that he can help the team. But more likely, he’ll be auditioning for clubs who would be interested in taking on Rugani as part of one of Juve’s swap deals for a striker or midfielder.
