LW Cristiano Ronaldo

No Paulo Dybala means that more of the goal-scoring burden will fall on Cristiano Ronaldo, who will also have less space to work with without Dybala’s smart runs off the ball and mazy dribbles on it.

Dybala has been in great scoring since Serie A’s return with four goals in four games. Ronaldo has also kicked it into high gear with four goals in four games, but he’s benefited from penalties. He’ll need to be ruthless in front of goal and create his own opportunities off the dribble. Based on how he played against Torino, he shouldn’t have much trouble against Milan, bouncing back from a poor Coppa Italia semifinals performance.

ST Gonzalo Higuain

Gonzalo Higuain can still help Juve and has scored off the bench since Serie A’s return, but he’s on his way out of the club soon. The Argentine star isn’t the player he once was, but he’ll need to play with intensity and do a great job of linking up with the wingers as Dybala’s direct replacement in the starting lineup.

Higuain didn’t look so hot as a sub against Torino, but it wasn’t for a lack of effort. The experienced striker will always give it his all and has the technique to score from just about anywhere around the box, but how he links up with Ronaldo will tell the story of his day at the San Siro.
