Juventus need to step it up, otherwise they could be in for a rough night against Sassuolo.

On Wednesday night at the Mapei Stadium, Juventus will face Sassuolo after two disappointing displays against Milan and Atalanta. They collapsed against the seventh-placed Rossoneri after building a 2-0 lead, and then two fortunate penalties rescued a point for them against an incredibly in-form Atalanta side who have distinguished themselves as a force at the Champions League level.

Sassuolo may be in eighth place, but they are just as dangerous in Milan and in competition with them for a Europa League spot. Here are five key players for the Bianconeri.

RB Danilo

Juan Cuadrado will be suspended on Wednesday night after picking up a yellow card against Atalanta, so Danilo will have to start at right back. Danilo has been playing at left back lately with Alex Sandro at less than 100 percent, but he should be better on the right side.

With Danilo, there are more questions about his ability to support the attack. He will be needed against Sassuolo offensively, since Cuadrado does so much in the attacking third that can often make up for Federico Bernardeschi’s lack of a final pass.

Danilo himself has struggled in the past couple of games, so it would also be nice for him to show that he still has a positive role to play for Juventus in 2020.
