Juventus Transfers: Manchester United to send ‘big offer’ for improving midfielder
Juventus center midfielder Adrien Rabiot had a rough start to life in Turin, but he’s been picking it back up recently.
Last summer, Juventus thought they made two important upgrades to their midfield by signing Adrien Rabiot and Aaron Ramsey for free, giving both experienced center midfielders big contracts. But both players could be on the way out this summer after underwhelming for most of the 2019-2020 Serie A season.
Rabiot has recently improved his performances to the point where it seems like he does have a future at the club, but the right offer could pry him away from Juve.
According to a report from Tutto Juve, that offer could be coming from Manchester United, who had been previously linked to the former PSG man. Per Tutto Juve, Man U are expected to submit a “big offer” to the Bianconeri for Rabiot.
How much would that offer be? 30 million euros. And in this market, that is a significant chunk of money that Juventus could use to fund a bigger signing in midfield, perhaps targeting a younger player like Sandro Tonali or new top target Nicolo Zaniolo of Roma.
Juventus would have options with that kind of money, and Manchester United are one of the few clubs in a position to spend this summer. The Bianconeri are ambitious, but they are mostly using swap deals to get the job done.
Rabiot or Ramsey were possibilities in a swap deal for Paul Pogba, but the French superstar is most likely staying with United for another season. But being able to sell Rabiot at that kind of a profit is huge for Juve.
The midfielder’s recent performances have likely caught the eye of the Red Devils, who had to be impressed with his solo goal against Milan a couple of weeks ago. Rabiot may not generate much interest outside of the Premier League, so if Juve get this kind of an offer from United, they may just sell him.

While Rabiot has shown he still has value to the Old Lady and has been one of the team’s best midfielders since Serie A’s return, expect the club to consider accepting, even if it runs the risk of leaving them thin in midfield.
