Juventus had slipped and stumbled for weeks, but a ninth straight Scudetto is finally theirs.

It has been a difficult return to Serie A for Juventus, filled with injuries and blown leads. But finally, Maurizio Sarri has fulfilled his destiny by winning the league with the Bianconeri, as Juve pushed past two injuries to produce a professional 2-0 victory over Sampdoria at the Allianz Stadium.

Yes, Juve made it nervy at points, and Sampdoria played much better than the scoreline would indicate. But at the end of the day, the Bianconeri did what the needed to do on both ends of the pitch to get the full three points they had to claim.

Here are the full player ratings for Juventus from the title-sealing home win.

GK Wojciech Szczesny

Another great display from Wojciech Szczesny, who did not put a single foot wrong despite being tested frequently by Sampdoria. Serie A legend Fabio Quagliarella, a former Capocannoniere winner, had several dangerous chances, but Szczesny was equal to the striker’s efforts. Szczesny continues to prove why he is regarded as Serie A’s best goalkeeper, and he deserved the clean sheet despite the strong performance from the underdog visitors to the Allianz Stadium.
