CM Blaise Matuidi

Blaise Matuidi is never a cause for concern in the Juventus starting lineup. The French midfielder has been a member of the Bianconeri for years and knows Serie A in and out. He’s a reliable performer, a hard worker, and a strong defensive presence in midfield. Matuidi won’t offer much in the attack, but he did have some bright moments against Sampdoria, putting in a couple of teasing crosses for Cristiano Ronaldo. More of the same should be enough.

CM Rodrigo Bentancur

Miralem Pjanic got an assist and did plenty to help Juventus seal the title vs. Sampdoria, so Rodrigo Bentancur will get another shot at proving himself in the regista role. Realistically, Juve will need to push for Maurizio Sarri’s man Jorginho this summer at the regista position, since Bentancur is suited for a box-to-box role on the right. Bentancur will be a man to watch closely against Cagliari star Radja Nainggolan, who is a legend of Serie A.

CM Aaron Ramsey

Adrien Rabiot has proven to be a useful player for Juventus, especially in the attack. He’s honestly been one of the club’s best players of late. Meanwhile, Aaron Ramsey looks like dead weight the Old Lady must cut loose this summer. Occasionally, he pops up for a goal and shows the attacking instincts that made him a fan favorite in the Premier League, but the 2019 free transfer has been woeful since Serie A’s restart. He is running out of time to show he has a future in Turin.
