LW Cristiano Ronaldo

Cristiano Ronaldo could get some rest against Cagliari, and while I’m sure rest has been proposed to Ronaldo by the team, he doesn’t want to give up on the Capocannoniere yet. Ciro Immobile of Lazio leads the race after a recent hat trick, but a superstar like Ronaldo is still very much involved. The chance to grab more goals against Cagliari won’t escape him, and even though Juve have already won the title, Ronaldo never lacks for motivation. Without Paulo Dybala, it becomes harder to find forward alternatives if Ronaldo does not start.

ST Gonzalo Higuain

The days in Turin are winding down for Gonzalo Higuain, who was of good service to the club over the last couple of years. But it’s clear that a chance up top is needed. Higuain has been woeful in Serie A’s return, even missing an easy chance created by Ronaldo on Sunday vs. Sampdoria. He could grab another goal to add to his tally on Wednesday night at Cagliari, but Higuain’s main task will be clearing space for Ronaldo, assuming his former Real Madrid teammate starts.

RW Federico Bernardeschi

The Juventini rejoiced when Federico Bernardeschi finally broke his year-plus streak of games without a goal, tapping in a spilled Cristiano Ronaldo effort to seal the game and title against Sampdoria. Bernardeschi must take on greater responsibility with his off-ball movement and scoring threat on Wednesday, as both Paulo Dybala and Douglas Costa are injured.
