Juventus have already won the Scudetto, but they looked dreadful against Cagliari on Wednesday.

It’s a good thing Juventus already sealed their ninth straight Serie A title after defeating Sampdoria at home on Sunday, because they turned in another abysmal performance on the road in Wednesday night’s 2-0 loss to Cagliari.

With Paulo Dybala out, Cristiano Ronaldo pushed to start to keep chasing Ciro Immobile, but he failed to add to his goal tally with the embarrassingly poor Gonzalo Higuain and Federico Bernardeschi alongside him.

It’s hard to really praise anyone for their performances in this loss, as Juventus were thoroughly outclassed by the mid-table Serie A side.

Here are the full player ratings from another humiliating defeat for the Bianconeri.

With the title already won, the veteran Gianluigi Buffon started against Cagliari ahead of top Serie A keeper Wojciech Szczesny. The drop-off between the two was clear on Giovanni Simeone’s goal to make it 2-0 for Cagliari, as a more alert and athletic goalkeeper would have made the stop. Buffon had a great save to deny Simeone to somewhat make up for not stopping Simeone’s goal, but it was still a below-par day at the office for the Italian football legend.
