LW Cristiano Ronaldo

Cristiano Ronaldo may have broken a record for the most number of useless shots clattering off defender’s legs from outside the box, but he was also the only player trying to do anything incisive in the attacking third. While the other forwards were content with playing lazy passes or doing the bare minimum in terms of running, Ronaldo was determined to score. The end product wasn’t there, though, and he was failed by his teammates.

ST Gonzalo Higuain

Woeful. Gonzalo Higuain’s exit from Juventus can’t come soon enough. He’s a legend of Serie A who gave his all to the club, so it’s sad to see how ineffective he’s become. But the truth cannot be sugarcoated, Higuain has no business starting for a club as prestigious as the Bianconeri. He was completely invisible in this game, and it was hard not to cringe when watching him. At this point, he carries very little goal-scoring threat, which is a damning statement for a striker.

RW Federico Bernardeschi

The worst player for Juventus in nearly every game, Federico Bernardeschi sunk to a new low on the road against Cagliari. He missed one shot so badly that his technique couldn’t have been any lazier than it was on that wayward attempt. Bernardeschi misplaced so many simple passes to ruin attacks, too. It seems like he can do nothing right, even though he continues to work hard and do his best. But his best isn’t good enough. Bernardeschi needs the boost in confidence that comes with a change in scenery. His time at Juventus must end.
