Juventus superstars Cristiano Ronaldo and Paulo Dybala have been linked in transfer rumors, but fans shouldn’t be worried about them actually leaving.

Every transfer window is filled with wild rumors and interesting twists and turns, but, for Juventus fans, the 2020 summer transfer window is especially interesting.

There is the matter of the financial crisis in football caused by COVID-19, which affects Juve. This crisis will lead to more and more swap deals being proposed and accepted, such as the one that has brought Arthur Melo to Turin.

Then, there is also the change in manager, with unknown commodity Andrea Pirlo now steering the ship. Who he values and who he doesn’t is completely unknown; we don’t even know the system he plans on using.

But lately, rumors surrounding superstars Cristiano Ronaldo and Paulo Dybala have been taking center stage. The two best players on Juventus have both been linked with moves away from the club, with Guillem Balague even suggesting he had been offered to Barcelona before backtracking.

Paulo Dybala is the future centerpiece for Juventus

As for Dybala, the rumors seem completely out of left field. The last time we checked, Juve were trying to sign him to a lucrative extension and make him the face of the organization for years to come. He is the future post-Ronaldo, since the left winger only has a few years left at the highest level of football.

While transfer rumors around the club’s top two players can produce anxiety, it doesn’t seem like there is anything to these rumors.

On his YouTube channel, Sportmediaset reporter Gianni Balzarini addressed both the Cristiano Ronaldo and Paulo Dybala rumors, via TuttoJuve.com.

He called the rumors of Ronaldo to Barcelona an “invention” before stating that the Portuguese superstar will honor his contract with Juventus for at least one more year.

And on Dybala, Balzarini was told that Juve will not sell him either. They are still working on the details of his contract renewal, and based on Balzarini’s comments, it seems the negotiations are proceeding slowly due to the understandably considerable compensation involved.

Juventus signed Ronaldo with the intent of becoming the biggest club in Europe and finally winning the Champions League, and that goal hasn’t changed. Ronaldo, surely, understands that this is all still a work in progress and will show patience for another year.

Next. Juventus would rob Arsenal with this swap deal. dark

Selling Dybala is even less likely. He is a true star player in world football and someone Juve can build the team around for the next three to five years after Ronaldo leaves.
