Aaron Ramsey suffered an injury during Juventus’ 4-1 win over Ferencvaros in the Champions League. Here’s how much time he’ll miss.

Under new manager Andrea Pirlo, Aaron Ramsey is becoming an important player for Juventus, as he and Adrien Rabiot are showing their true quality after finding life in Turin difficult in their first months after signing as free agents.

Rabiot has become a weekly fixture for Juve, and Ramsey has shown real creativity in an attacking midfield role behind forwards Cristiano Ronaldo and Alvaro Morata.

But unfortunately, Ramsey has sustained another injury.

The Wales international left the pitch after playing 53 minutes against Ferencvaros in Wednesday’s victory.

Aaron Ramsey could miss the next three games for Juventus

According to a report from Sky Sport Italia, Aaron Ramsey will miss the next three weeks because of the injury. He will miss this Sunday’s huge match against Lazio, the next Serie A match against Cagliari, and the second Champions League fixture vs. Ferencvaros.

Ramsey will reportedly be reevaluated on Nov. 28 for a possible appearance against Benevento, but it may be safer to assume that we won’t see the 29-year-old until December.

Goal.com’s Romeo Agresti reports that Ramsey will be reevaluated sooner – in about 10 days – and has a “low-grade lesion of the rectus femoris muscle” in his thigh.

Ramsey’s had a couple of standout performances early in the season for Juventus. Per WhoScored.com, the former Arsenal man had three key passes and three dribbles completed in a 2-0 Champions League victory.

His best game was in the opener against Sampdoria, as he was a creative nightmare for Claudio Ranieri’s side with six key passes and an assist. Ramsey hasn’t been nearly as good in Serie A since then, though, and he will have to fight for his place when he returns from his injury.

He’s long fought off injury issues during his career, so the Juventini can only hope this thigh injury does not linger.
