Juventus forward Paulo Dybala is still in contract negotiations with the club, so other teams are monitoring his situation closely.

It’s an annoyance to Juventini that Paulo Dybala and Juventus have not come to terms on a new contract after months of negotiating. Dybala is the reigning MVP of Serie A and a world-class forward, but the issue is that he wants to be paid like a top-five player in the world. He is a great player, but he is not THAT good. And therein lies the issue.

At the end of the day, Dybala and Juventus should come to an agreement that ensures Dybala spends the prime of his career as Juve’s star player and leader. He is important to the club, and although he’s had some problems this season, he is still absolutely one of Serie A’s best.

Because Juve and Dybala haven’t agreed yet, PSG are now being linked to the Argentine superstar.

According to a report from Tuttosport’s Antonio Milone, Mauricio Pochettino’s appointment at PSG could lead the Parisians to make an attempt for Paulo Dybala. Pochettino tried to sign Dybala for Tottenham, but he was unable to complete the organization-altering transfer.

Juventus would need a lot more than 60 million euros to sell Paulo Dybala

Per Tuttosport, PSG is willing to spend 60 million euros on Dybala. In the eyes of Juventus, that would be an insulting offer.

Dybala is worth almost twice as much, because he is a forward who can create goals out of thin air. There are few players in Europe who can change the course of a game quite like Dybala, and while there are questions about his consistency, there are no questions about his talent. Dybala could be a serial goal-scorer in Paris.

It’s hard to envision Dybala moving to PSG, Manchester United, Real Madrid, or whichever club happens to be linked to La Joya next. His future seems to be in Turin as a perennial Serie A MVP. If PSG want to change that, then they would have to bump their offer to something closer to 100 million, as the report from Tuttosport states.

The longer the Dybala discussions drag on, the more nervous Juventini may get. But as of right now, I have yet to see a better alternative for Dybala than a new contract with the Bianconeri.
