After 14 Serie A Matchdays and with a current break in the action, let’s predict where Juventus will end up in the table.

For Juventus, anything less than first place is unacceptable. The Bianconeri expect to win Serie A every year, and they have done so for nine straight seasons. But this season, Juve are in sixth place heading into the new year, and even if we say they win their game in-hand on the clubs ahead of them, they would still be no higher than third behind Inter Milan and AC Milan.

Although Juventus are not rebuilding, they are retooling their squad. The Bianocneri knew they were too old this past summer, so they brought in young players like Arthur Melo and Federico Chiesa, who can be stars in Turin for years to come. At least, that’s the hope. That said, there is more work to be done, including in the next summer market, where a player like Paul Pogba or Manuel Locatelli could await.

But how will Juventus finish the 2020-2021 Serie A campaign? Let’s predict where they will land by coming up with a top seven at the start of 2021.

7. Atalanta

Atalanta are a talented team and recently drew with Juventus, but I think they will hold steady in seventh, especially since they are all but guaranteed to lose their most gifted player, Papu Gomez, this winter after he and the manager had a falling out.
