3. Napoli

Napoli are a dangerous team. They can be as good as anyone in Serie A when you look at the quality they have in their squad, and that makes up for them lacking a top scorer like Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Lukaku, or Ronaldo. Napoli aren’t a real threat to win the league, but they have a well-rounded attack. Hirving Lozano, Dries Mertens, and Lorenzo Insigne is a trio that any club in Italy should envy.

2. Juventus

I know this ranking will disappoint people, but I think Juventus have dug themselves into too big of a hole behind Milan. This season should be a final wake-up call to the club’s management that there needs to be a smarter team-building strategy. Juve will come charging back and give Milan a title race for the ages, but Milan have the more cohesive side. The Bianconeri have Ronaldo, but their reliance on Ronaldo won’t be enough to carry the day.

1. Milan

It has been a guilty pleasure to watch Milan play. Yes, they are Juve’s rivals, but you have to admit that they play beautiful football as a team. There are so many talented players on this side who fulfill their roles perfectly. Theo Hernandez is one of the world’s finest attacking left backs, their center back duo is among the best in Europe, Gianluigi Donarumma is worthy of superlatives, Hakan Calhanoglu is Serie A’s premier chance-creator, Rafael Leao is a brilliant young forward, Sandro Tonali has a bright future, and Ismael Bennacer is the unsung hero of it all. I could go on and on. Milan are the best team in Italy, and the onus is on Juventus to prove otherwise.
