Juventus forward Paulo Dybala will have one more year left on his contract at the end of the 2020-2021 season, and the negotiations between the Bianconeri and La Joya have shown very little progress since the summer. There’s a real possibility Dybala could end up playing elsewhere, even if logic dictates he would stay and be a club legend in Turin.

There will be suitors sniffing out a possible deal for Dybala, who could be acquired at less than market value due to his struggles with injury in the 2020-2021 season. Some fans have, unfortunately, quickly forgotten how important Dybala has been, including winning Serie A’s MVP last season.

According to a report from Tuttosport, via Calciomercato.com, there are already reportedly six clubs lining up to sign Paulo Dybala away from Juventus. A swap deal may be the most logical move in this economy for any party interested in the Argentine attacker.

These six clubs are Manchester United, PSG, Barcelona, Manchester City, Real Madrid, and even Atletico Madrid.

Which club is most likely to buy Paulo Dybala from Juventus?

We can rule out a few of those suitors. Real could use a left-footed player who can score goals, but they already have their eyes set on Erling Haaland and Kylian Mbappe as their top targets. They don’t have the money for Dybala, who isn’t really a stylistic fit for Zinedine Zidane either.

And we can safely rule out their crosstown rivals Atletico Madrid. Why on earth would they want Dybala? How would he fit with Joao Felix? Even Barcelona can be eliminated, both due to the fit with Lionel Messi and Antoine Griezmann already there and also because the club itself does not have funds.

That leaves United, PSG, and City. Would Pep Guardiola want Dybala with Riyad Mahrez already in his ranks? And Ferran Torres, who was acquired last summer? That’s doubtful. PSG are always lurking, so keep them in mind. And United could look to make a splash and have been a popular link to Dybala recently, due to the possibility of a Paul Pogb swap discussion.

It won’t be easy for Juventus to find someone willing to pay a fair price for Dybala, whose true valuation is much higher than where it would be this summer. Dybala has been extremely unlucky this season, and that’s hurt Juve on the pitch, too.

Ideally, the Bianconeri would keep Dybala. But now, the rumors are swirling, and Juventini will pay attention to any more rumors linking these clubs with their beloved “jewel”.
