I could go in a number of directions with the fourth and final player, as there are a pair of new midfielders worthy of praise in Arthur Melo and Weston McKennie. Dejan Kulusevski, in spite of his struggles this season, feels like a future superstar in Black and White. And Danilo feels like a totally new player under Andrea Pirlo. Even Merih Demiral merits mention despite being a backup center back.

However, a 30-year-old goalkeeper should receive the praise. Wojciech Szczesny sets the standard at the position in Serie A and is arguably a top-five goalkeeper in Europe. There is talk about Gianluigi Donnarumma making his way to Turin, but, for now, that is all just talk.

Szczesny does not have Donnarumma’s future potential, but it would be presumptuous for Juventus to consider moving on from their current No. 1. He is the envy of so many teams, and, right now, a reliable goalkeeper is worth his weight in gold. There are too few of them to go around, and all the big clubs are doing what they can to hold onto the one they have.

Juventus should do the same. They have too many needs to start scrambling around at goalkeeper. Szczesny has kept Juve in some big matches this season, including the Supercoppa Italiana triumph over Napoli. He is a treasure to have in goal.
