Juventus came into Serie A’s Matchday 29 with a lot of questions to answer. Before the March international break, the Bianconeri lost to Benevento 1-0, basically ending their chase for a 10th straight Scudetto. Andrea Pirlo was feeling the heat under his seat, and then a trio of key players were suspended from the Derby della Mole after breaking COVID-19 protocol.

So the Bianconeri came into this derby stumbling, but we all knew they had a chance to put it all behind them with a strong performance. Unfortunately, Juventus struggled, and they were fortunate to have squeezed a point out of Torino on the road in a 2-2 draw.

Let’s take a look at the player ratings from what can only be described as a dreadful performance. The drama in Turin will only continue after Juve dropped points against one of the weakest Torino sides we have seen in recent years.

GK Wojciech Szczesny

Although Wojciech Szczesny has generally been a solid performer for Juventus, he was quite poor against Torino. He made an error for Antonio Sanabria’s first goal, and his goalkeeping for the second was even worse. I have no idea how he was beaten at the near post there, but the goal looks even worse each time I see it on replay. What at time for Szczesny to have one of his worst games in goal, though he did produce two decent stops later in the match.
