LB Alex Sandro

It’s entirely possible we could see Danilo shift to the left side, but I think Andrea Pirlo will stick with his usual left back in Alex Sandro. We’ve seen ups and downs from the experienced Brazilian this season. His biggest “up” was his brace against Parma in a 3-1 win. All he needs to do is play composed defense and be an outlet in the attack.

CB Giorgio Chiellini

Giorgio Chiellini has made some huge stops defensively this season and still has the heart of a warrior, even at the age of 36 and with retirement potentially on the horizon. He’d start on the left side of the central defense.

CB Matthijs de Ligt

Either Matthijs de Ligt or Leonardo Bonucci could start against Milan. I would personally lean towards de Ligt, since he is less mistake-prone and offers great solidity defensively. His strength would be important against Zlatan Ibrahimovic. Bonucci is a possibility, though, as he is Juve’s best ball-playing center back.

RB Danilo

Danilo is like having a third center back in the team. He is a smart passer and a great defender in the tackle. He’ll need to be as strong as possible defensively to get the full three points vs. Milan.
