Juventus seem more determined to bring in young and hungry players from different leagues across Europe and beyond. Over the last few years, it has become one of the Bianconeri’s main features in the transfer market.

Juve’s current squad boasts the right mix of youth and experience, with players such as Dejan Kulusevski, Federico Chiesa and Matthijs de Ligt representing the youthfulness and Juan Cuadrado, Leonardo Bonucci, Giorgio Chiellini, and Cristiano Ronaldo being the veterans.

Taking that point into consideration, Juventus should try to replace a young prodigy with another young prodigy. It is the rational way of doing things, isn’t it? Moreover, there is no hiding that the Piedmontese club is willing to secure a deal for Nuno this summer.

But, as has been the case for some of the options mentioned above, Juventus could be priced out of a potential deal, with teams such as Liverpool, Manchester United, AC Milan, and Manchester City all waiting in the wings.

On top of the intense desire for the 19-year-old full-back from European heavyweight, Juventus have encountered another hurdle in the form of Nuno Mendes’ €70 million release clause, keeping the ball in the court of Sporting CP.

Coming from the academy of the Lisbon-based side, Nuno Mendes has made 44 appearances for the senior side of the Leões so far. Full of sheer pace and agility, the Portuguese is what Juventus should be looking at, in terms of both signing a replacement for Frabotta and bringing in a backup for Alex Sandro But would it be possible? Only time will tell.
