#2 Juve fans don’t brag about their youngsters enough!

If you use social media platforms and follow football fanatics there, then you know how highly they talk of youngsters such as Ansu Fati, Phil Foden, Mason Greenwood, Giovanni Reyna, Bukayo Saka, and so on. But how many times do you notice the name of Filippo Ranocchia or Matías Soulé or Félix Correia? Not many, isn’t it? Juventus fans, start boasting about them so that people — unaware of their talents — begin to acknowledge them from such a tender age!

Ranocchia, only 20, scored a belter to draw first blood, catching the ball with the instep of his left foot and making sure that it remained out of the opposing goalkeeper’s reach. Other than that sheer sprinkle of brilliance, Ranocchia showcased his ability to progress the ball from one box to another while being deployed as a box-to-box midfielder. He was indeed exemplary in both boxes.

Others such as Matías Soulé, 18, and Nicolò Fagioli, 20, deserve a mention as well. It was another night for Soulé’s dancing feet on the right-wing. Despite failing to engrave his name on the scoresheet, the Argentine got the assist for Ranocchia’s left-footed curler.

Fagioli entered the pitch right after the game resumed at half-time, replacing Ramsey at the centre of the pitch. He did enough to warrant a loan move this summer. Now, whether Juventus let him leave or keep him to make good use of his attributes next season remains to be seen.
