Suddenly, Juventus have just over 24 hours to complete all their transfer business for the summer.

In what was, for a long time, an incredibly dull and quiet transfer window for the Bianconeri has swiftly evolved into somewhat of a frenetic one following the stunning exit of Cristiano Ronaldo. And, as you’d expect with the deadline fast approaching, the transfer rumour mills are going berzerk.

Juve are set to be active over the next 36 or so hours in terms of both incomings and outgoings. But what deals could the Bianconeri get over the line?

Let’s take a look.

Moise Kean from Everton

Moise Kean’s return to Juventus is now close. The Bianconeri moved swiftly after Cristiano Ronaldo informed the club of his desire to leave by opening up talks with Everton over a transfer for the Italian.

Fabrizio Romano reported on Saturday that it was a “done deal” with the clubs agreeing to an initial loan with an obligation to buy for €20m. The 21-year-old completed his medical in Turin on Sunday and an official announcement is imminent.

Whether he’s a suitable Ronaldo replacement, however, remains to be seen.

Well, talk about out of nowhere!

Juventus look to be adding a real talent to their ranks before the deadline in the form of young PSV playmaker Mohamed Ihattaren. The 19-year-old’s registered 21 goal contributions in 74 senior appearances for the Dutch side and is heading to Turin on a five-year deal, as reported by Nicolo Schira and confirmed by Romeo Agresti.

Agresti also understands that the club will loan the teenager to Sampdoria for the 2021/22 campaign.

This is a move that’s expected to be completed in the next 24 hours and one that could facilitate the exit of a certain Swede.

Axel Witsel from Borussia Dortmund

This was a rumour that emerged amid reports linking Weston McKennie away from the club due to off the field issues.

Axel Witsel would’ve been an odd replacement considering his contrasting profile, but Gianluca Di Marzio (via JuveFC) understands that Juve could bring in the Belgian regardless of whether a midfielder departs before the deadline.

Nevertheless, the Bianconeri supposedly held talks with Witsel on Sunday and it’s believed that Dortmund would sanction a sale if they find a replacement. Currently, their midfield depth chart looks incredibly thin.

Miralem Pjanic from Barcelona

That’s right. This rumour is still lurking and will continue to linger like a foul smell up until the deadline.

The reliable Mirko Di Natale reports that the club held talks with Miralem Pjanic’s entourage on Sunday and are keen to bring the Bosnian back to Turin. The player is, of course, desperate to get out of Catalonia, while Barcelona will be happy to get him off their books. Overall, it appears that this move will, regrettably, happen.

Pjanic is willing to take a significant pay cut to sanction a move.
