Unleash Federico Chiesa

So far, we’ve focussed on how Juventus can mitigate Milan’s threat. How do Juventus score a goal on Sunday?

Well, there’s one man who might help in that regard and his status is a mystery. We don’t think Federico Chiesa will start on Sunday, but he’s at least poised to earn minutes off the bench. Chiesa’s the Bianconeri’s x-factor and he has to be unleashed.

There’s no need to dive deep into what exactly makes the young Italian special, we’ve done that countless times. However, what we will say is that his presence could totally alter the dynamic and momentum of the contest.

Hopefully, Allegri utilises him on the flanks as opposed to upfront, where Fikayo Tomori and Simon Kjaer could suffocate him. I’d back Chiesa to dominate either Davide Calabria or Theo Hernandez one-v-one (check last season’s 3-1 victory over Milan). He’s a match-up nightmare, with Juventus a much more varied and multi-faceted attack when he’s on the field.
