Paulo Dybala (8/10): It did not take too long for him to make his mark on the game, providing a delightful pass to find Moarata in the opening minutes of the first half. Registering the assist for an early goal, Dybala continued to demonstrate his authority in a team lacking the miracles of Cristiano Ronaldo. The diminutive Argentine put up an exceptional show, running around everywhere and trying to pull some strings to facilitate the team’s attacking prowess. He was a worthy contender for the man of the match accolade.

Álvaro Morata (7.5/10): What a start to the match it was from Juventus, thanks to Alvaro Morata and his deceitful chip. Once Paulo Dybala found the buzzing feet of the Spaniard, there was no possibility of Theo Hernández, the man defending Milan’s territory following a corner situation, holding Morata back. The 28-year-old, having covered half of the ground in a blink of an eye, chipped the ball neatly to break the deadlock at the fourth minute of the game. Sheer hard work was apparent in his outing tonight, making him one of the best players on the pitch for I Bianconeri. He got substituted off at the 65th minute of the game, making way for Moise Kean.

Juventus’ substitutions:

Moise Kean: 5.5/10

Federico Chiesa: N/A

Dejan Kulusevski: N/A
