Palermo-born Emmanuel Gyasi represents Ghana at an international level and is considered one of the most reliable footballers for Spezia. The 27-year-old forward is also one of the longest-serving players for the club, moving to the port city in 2016.

As per the stats from Transfermarkt, Gyasi has already played 117 games for Spezia, recording 19 goals and 17 assists in the process. For a club that is unusually regarded as weak in the top tier of the Italian footballing pyramid, that is a decent chunk of goal contributions.

Playing 2,856 minutes of football, the forward logged four goals and six assists last season. The speciality of Gyasi is that he can play in numerous forward positions. Whether it is as a winger on the left flank or an out-and-out forward or an inside forward or a supporting striker, he loves running at defences.

Gyasi’s blistering pace provides him with the requisite velocity needed to fly past defenders. With a body frame of 6ft, he is a big help for his team from set-piece situations. This season, Gyasi opened his account against Cagliari on the opening weekend of the season. He will be entertaining the idea of extending that tally this midweek.
