Federico Bernardeschi (RM) – 5.5/10 – After an anonymous showing in the first half, Allegri switched Bernardeschi to a between the lines function. He was full of running and had plenty of touches as his influence markedly increased. He lacked quality, though.

Manuel Locatelli (CM) – 7/10 – A pinpoint finish. Locatelli’s late winner came after a frustrating evening for the Italian. Unsurprisingly, Ivan Juric had a plan for dealing with Juventus’ metronome. Rolando Mandragora had the job of marking Locatelli in the build-up phase and the Torino skipper stuck to his task well. Locatelli was limited in possession as a result, but, well, WHO CARES!

Weston McKennie (CM) – 4.5/10 – I report, with regret, that McKennie blew another huge opportunity. On a rare start, the American missed a big chance early on that seemingly dented his confidence significantly. His technical levels were sub-par, and his early miss perhaps put him off shooting from a tempting position midway through the second half. However, his work ethic can’t be faulted.

Adrien Rabiot (LM) – 5/10 – The infuriating tale of Adrien Rabiot continued with a gut-wrenching episode on Saturday evening. On the bright side, the Frenchman penetrated the Torino defence on a couple of occasions but his shoddy decision-making with the final act undermined previous good work.
