Paulo Dybala (CF) – 6.5/10 – Dybala, on his first start since returning from injury, teed up McKennie’s leveller with a wonderful free-kick from the left. The Argentine struck the post in the first half and tried his utmost in the second period to bring Juventus back into the contest. While he drifted out of the contest at times, La Joya typically produced a few scintillating sequences with the ball.

Alvaro Morata (ST) – 4/10 – The Spaniard should’ve had a field day against Sassuolo’s high defensive line, but his inability to adhere to the offside law as well as Juve’s build-up woes ensured he was unproductive. It was another poor outing for Morata since his return from injury.
