Federico Chiesa (RM) – 6/10 – Chiesa came close to producing a stunning winner before Cuadraod eventually did, but his thumping effort came crashing off the crossbar. The Italian won the foul that earned Milenkovic his second yellow and after that, he was a persistent threat following an uninfluential 70 minutes.

Manuel Locatelli (CM) – 5.5/10 – A quiet outing for Locatelli, who didn’t have much to do defensively and was tidy enough with the ball. He produced one or two gorgeous switches of play but was largely anonymous.

Weston McKennie (CM) – 7.5/10 – McKennie was certainly Juve’s brightest performer with the ball. The American was dynamic, combined well off one and two touches and was the only player who offered any consistent thrust. He certainly wasn’t the reason why Juve returned to their toothless selves in this one.

Adrien Rabiot (LM) – 3/10 – His inclusion was a major surprise after Federico Bernardeschi’s impressive showing in the week. Once again, Rabiot was lifeless. His quality with the ball is sub-par and his movement off it is woeful. There were a couple of diligent defensive sequences in the second half but that was about it. Why Allegri persists with him in this role I do not know.
