Paulo Dybala (SS) – 9/10 – This was one of those magical Dybala nights. From the very outset, it was clear La Joya was intent on grabbing this contest by the scruff of the neck. His performance was joyous, with masterful ball-orientation, ingenious craft, and shrewd space manipulation prominent features of his display. Salernitana simply couldn’t cope. The crowning moment was his superbly-taken opener.

Moise Kean (ST) – 6/10 – On a rare start for the Bianconeri, Kean stretched the pitch well by making darting runs in behind. His hold-up play was patchy and he still needs refinement in this department. Overall, there was some smart centre-forward play from the young Italian, but he probably didn’t do enough to convince Allegri as Morata got on the scoresheet.
