It’s been a hectic day for Juventus and their pursuit of a new striker. 2021 isn’t even in the books yet and our timelines are already crashing with the endless stream of updates.

The revelation surrounding Alvaro Morata on Thursday morning was a major surprise and that news opened the floodgates for updates surrounding several of Juventus’ reported striker targets.

So, instead of delivering a bunch of individual pieces, we thought we’d round up all the latest gossip provided on Thursday down below. Enjoy!

Memphis Depay

Now, this rumour has been almost forced upon Juventus as a result of Barcelona’s interest in Morata.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Barça have already approached Juve over a potential deal and are willing to offer Depay in exchange. The Bianconeri are not convinced by the Dutchman, although it’s clear that Morata wants to leave Juventus.

The Catalans will work with Atletico Madrid in order to bring Morata to Barcelona, but it doesn’t appear that Depay will move to Juventus if a deal is struck.

Arkadiusz Milik

The perpetually injured Polish international was seen as a potential stop-gap option in January. Milik has scored eight times for Marseille this season and, when fit, is an undeniably sound finisher.

However, after initial links emerged last week, Romeo Agresti (via @ForzaJuventus) has now said we can “exclude” a move for Milik this winter.

Dusan Vlahovic

The crown jewel. Vlahovic will be out of Florence in 2022, but it seems that he’ll depart in the summer as opposed to January. He desperately wants to be crowned Capocannoniere this season, and he leads the way at the halfway mark with 16 goals.

Juventus’ interest in the Serbian hitman is well-known, but this deal will be incredibly hard for the Bianconeri to pull off at any point. They have plenty of competition for his signature from all across Europe and Agresti (via @ForzaJuventus) admits that signing Vlahovic in the summer will be difficult for Juve.

Unless the striker only has eyes for Piedmont and boasts a similar desperation to play for Juventus as Manuel Locatelli did, this is a potential deal that the Old Lady might have to move on from.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang

That man Agresti is at it again! This was a rumour that seemingly had no life after the Gabonese international was stripped of the Arsenal captaincy, but the Goal Italia reporter has said that Aubameyang is a name to watch out for in Juventus’ striker search (via @ForzaJuventus).

Agresti reports that the player’s entourage is claiming to be in contact with Juventus with the striker keen on a return to Italy. Aubameyang’s senior career began with AC Milan, although he failed to make an appearance for the first team.

Giacomo Raspadori

Now, here’s a surprise. Juventus had been linked with Raspadori’s teammate Gianluca Scamacca but there was no new information surrounding the heavily-inked target man on Thursday.

Instead, La Gazzetta dello Sport reporter Giovanni Albanese (via @JuveFC) intrigued us by saying that Raspadori would be one to “keep an eye on” in the summer.

The diminutive Italian would not be a solution to Juve’s striker issue, but he’s a talent the Bianconeri couldn’t afford to pass up on if he became available in the summer. Ideally, both Scamacca and Raspadori would arrive in Turin to herald a new era.
