Contrary to the previous three, Kaio Jorge is not a Juventus academy graduate. He was signed by the club from Santos in the summer and he’s since been ubiquitous in Allegri’s matchday squads.

However, despite the patchy form of both Alvaro Morata and Moise Kean in the first half of the season, Jorge has garnered a meagre 103 minutes over nine appearances. The sample size is simply too small to assess the Brazilian forward but surely we’ll see more of him against Sampdoria.

Kean is suspended for Tuesday’s game, while Allegri will be hesitant to give Morata too many minutes with one eye focussing on Sunday’s huge Serie A clash away at AC Milan. The Spaniard will certainly be required to start that one.

Thus, Jorge is in line to make his first Juventus start in the Coppa Italia and in an ideal world, we’ll see the Brazilian flanked by Soulé off the right.
