While there were some disappointments throughout February for Juventus, Massimiliano Allegri’s side finished the month unbeaten and have emerged as outsiders in the Scudetto race.

The sudden unwillingness of both Milan clubs to win games of football has allowed Napoli, who went top at the weekend following Fabian Ruiz’s dramatic late winner at Lazio, to pounce and Juventus to sneak in as contenders.

While the top three will be wary of the Dusan Vlahovic-led Bianconeri in fourth, Juve’s primary goal remains to secure a top-four finish in Serie A. Atalanta’s poor month means they’re in a great position to attain this target.

Vlahovic has dominated the headlines since joining the club in January and his stellar debut month means he’s in contention to claim our Player of the Month award at the first time of asking. But has he done enough? The ratings from Juventus’ six games in February have been counted, verified and averaged, so let’s find out!

3. Danilo & Denis Zakaria (Average Rating – 6.6)

Two players share third-place this time around: Danilo and the fella Juve signed in January not called Dusan Vlahovic.

Like the standout Serb, Denis Zakaria scored on his Bianconeri debut against Hellas Verona before putting together a solid month of football. The Swiss midfielder hasn’t blown our socks off, but he’s proved to be a physical and athletic #8 capable of making an impact in both boxes. Zakaria looks a fine addition, overall. Although, it was revealed on Monday that he’ll miss the next month with a thigh injury.

Danilo, meanwhile, returned from a lengthy absence at the end of January to start four of Juve’s six games in February. The Brazilian has been as reliable as ever, playing at both right-back and centre-back. In all four of his starts, Danilo’s ratings ranged from 6.0 to 7.0 – hence his respectable 6.6 rating.

He’s as dependable as they come in the current Bianconeri squad and his last-gasp equaliser in Bergamo could have a massive say in the top-four race come the end of the season.
