Juan Cuadrado (RM) – 7/10 – The Colombian showed off his dazzling ability in one-vs-one situations on Sunday and he could’ve had a pair of assists after bamboozling his way past Arkadiusz Reca twice. Cuadrado was bright up until the end, although he certainly left his shooting boots at home.

Arthur Melo (CM) – 6/10 – The usually serene Arthur evolved into a more frantic iteration on Sunday evening, which compromised him somewhat. Nevertheless, the Brazilian, for the most, part was efficient with the ball and he wasn’t overwhelmed in transition despite being forced to cover a ton of space.

Manuel Locatelli (CM) – 8/10 – Let off the leash on Sunday night, Locatelli was majestic in the opening 45 minutes. He played with a swagger in this one and a purring Loca is always a wonderful sight. The Italian teed up Morata for the game-winner with a subtly brilliant pass.

Adrien Rabiot (LM) – 4.5/10 – Rabiot started well enough, contributing defensively. However, there was little by way of inspiring work with the ball. He struggled to have any impact in this regard and he made several clumsy errors out of possession towards the end of the contest.
