By the time the third Derby d’Italia rolls around after the March international break, Juventus are expected to have extended their unbeaten run in Serie A to 16 games as they take on Salernitana on Matchday 30.

Many understandably ruled the Bianconeri out of the title race as early as October, and while their inability to lose a domestic encounter has thrust them back into contention, a late title charge seems unlikely.

Following the conclusion of Matchday 29, Juventus sit seven points adrift of current leaders AC Milan. However, the Rossoneri are far from invincible and it’s a margin that certainly isn’t insurmountable. If they are to catch Milan, then victory against Inter is imperative.

This contest is one of just two remaining this season between the title contenders and it could decide just how far Juventus go in their Scudetto assault. Simultaneously, the Old Lady could crush the Nerazzurri’s hopes of regaining their crown should they triumph.
