Juan Cuadrado (RM) – 5.5/10 – The Colombian was the only starter to inject any life into Juventus’ attacks. He started brightly and his crosses were a persistent threat, but his influence waned considerably after the break.

Arthur Melo (CM) – 3/10 – Way too cautious with the ball and he epitomised his side’s monotone possession play. It was infuriating at times, as he so often took the simple route over the more progressive option. Very poor.

Manuel Locatelli (CM) – 5/10 – Tried his utmost to create and penetrate but to little avail. However, it was a surprise to see him replaced in the closing stages.

Adrien Rabiot (LM) – 4/10 – Rabiot was another one that annoyed me. Like Arthur, he was far too safe with possession and his decision-making was woeful. His reluctance to release De Sciglio down the left was weird.
