4 negatives from Paulo Dybala leaving Juventus at the end of the season
Big money on a replacement?
Replacing Dybala will be a complex task and there are several ways Juventus could go about it. They’ve been linked with the likes of Nicolo Zaniolo, Giacomo Raspadori and Domenico Berardi to fill La Joya’s boots and create a dynamic front three with Dusan Vlahovic and Federico Chiesa.
However, they could also go big in midfield in a bid to mitigate the loss of Dybala’s creative output. Paul Pogba and Sergej Milinkovic-Savic are two names that intrigue the club in this regard, but the former’s salary will be sky-high, while it’ll cost Juve a LOT of cash to prise away the latter from Lazio this summer.
Potential moves for Raspadori and/or Berardi appear manageable financially, but the latest reports suggest Juve are fixated with the idea of bringing Zaniolo to Turin. The Italian has just over a year left on his deal at Roma, but the Giallorossi are demanding a monster €70m for any sale this summer.
Replacing Dybala won’t be cheap, that’s for sure. Well, unless they start negotiating with Sassuolo.
