Paulo Dybala (SS) – 6.5/10 – Huffed and puffed while offering glimpses of serious quality. Dybala’s defensive work was the stand out for me, though, as he soundly prevented Marcelo Brozovic from dictating the contest.

Dusan Vlahovic (ST) – 4/10 – Vlahovic responded to the raucous home support with an impressive start to the contest. But then Milan Skriniar happened. The masterful Slovak defender had his way with the young striker, even if his challenges from behind occasionally breached the legitimacy threshold. His physicality completely stifled Vlahovic, who looked a shell of his usual confident self.
