If there’s one position where Juventus are well-stocked, it’s left-back. Yet, it’s also an area that the club need to strengthen this summer.

It seems that Alex Sandro’s career in Turin is drawing to a close following another year of decline, and it’d be tough for the club to convince Lazio to take the ageing Brazilian in any potential exchange deal. The 31-year-old’s value isn’t exactly high right now.

Nevertheless, as serviceable and excellent as Alex Sandro has been in the past, it’d be a brilliant move from the club to get the left-back off their books in any way possible this summer. Utilising him in this possible negotiation is the dream scenario.

It’s fair to say that the Biancocolesti aren’t blessed with top of the range options at left-back, so the Juventus man might be someone that tickles their fancy.
