Federico Bernardeschi (RM) – 5.5/10 – Created a good chance for Dybala early on but much of his work on Monday night came in defence. The advancing runs of Giorgos Kyriakopoulos constantly forced Bernardeschi to track deep into his own third.

Danilo (CM) – 5.5/10 – His limits as a central midfielder manifested on Monday night. Danilo didn’t create enough angles to aid Juve’s build-up, thus minimising his touches, and he struggled to cope with Sassuolo’s rapid combinations between the lines. Impressed when he moved back into defence, however.

Denis Zakaria (CM) – 5.5/10 – Zakaria’s subtle first-time pass teed up Dybala for the equaliser. However, I thought he was otherwise pretty poor despite putting himself about in the defensive phase. Lacked precision in possession.

Adrien Rabiot (LM) – 5.5/10 – Had a tough time tracking Davide Frattesi’s surges but he nonetheless made the odd standout defensive contribution. Offered little going forward.
