Sergej Milinkovic-Savic equalised at the death to spoil Juventus’ night of farewells as Giorgio Chiellini and Paulo Dybala said their goodbyes to the Juventus tifosi.

The first half, in which Juve took a 2-0 lead thanks to goals from Dusan Vlahovic and Alvaro Morata, was overshadowed by the departure of Chiellini, who left the field after 17 minutes on his final home appearance for the club following nearly two decades of service.

By the time the home crowd rose once more to appreciate the exiting Dybala, Alex Sandro had flicked Patric’s header into his own net to halve Lazio’s deficit.

The Biancocolesti, though, struggled to create a high-quality opening thereafter before a last-gasp counter-attack ended with Milinkovic-Savic tapping home brilliantly from an acute angle after Mattia Perin had parried Toma Basic’s fierce drive.

Lazio’s point means they have all but secured Europa League football for next season.

Here are the Juventus player ratings from an emotional night in Turin.

Mattia Perin (GK) – 6/10 – No clean sheet for Perin on a rare Serie A start. His hands were safe throughout, though, and he made a fine save to deny Basic before SMS rebounded superbly.

Juan Cuadrado (RB) – 5.5/10 – Mattia Zaccagni proved formidable opposition for Cuadrado, who struggled to match the craftiness of the Lazio wide man. And while he was pretty quiet going forward, the Colombian did tee up Morata for his goal.

Leonardo Bonucci (CB) – 5.5/10 – A mixed bag for Bonucci. There were stellar defensive sequences and pinpoint Hollywood passes, but also examples of sloppy defending in open space and wasteful possession play.

Giorgio Chiellini (CB) – N/A – This was Chiellini’s night. The departing Italian left the field in the 17th minute (an ode to his 17 years spent at Juventus) in what was a quite wonderful moment.

Alex Sandro (LB) – 5.5/10 – Caught out by the movement of Felipe Anderson at times before he ended the contest in midfield. No, I don’t know how he got there either.
