Juventus are working on the signings of two exciting full-backs who have impressed for Udinese this season: Nahuel Molina and Destiny Udogie.
The Bianconeri are set to bolster several positions this summer and left-back has emerged as a pressing need. Alex Sandro’s decline has continued this season, and there’s no doubting that Juve require reinforcements despite Luca Pellegrini’s notable improvement.
The club could also add a new right-back to their ranks with current first-choice Danilo being the wrong side of 30.
Udinese duo Destiny Udogie & Nahuel Molina are on Juventus’ radar this summer
La Gazzetta dello Sport’s Giovanni Albanese (via Forza Juventus) recently reported that Juventus have identified Udinese tandem Molina and Udogie as two full-back targets this summer.
The journalist was recently quoted as saying (via @JuveFC): ”Molina and Udogie? I know Juve have already started working on both of them. Both are potential targets. Bellanova? The club hasn’t given up on him, it’s a more prospective objective.”
21-year-old Bellanova has impressed out on loan at Cagliari this season, but the Sardinians will struggle to buy the dynamic full-back outright if they’re relegated to Serie B.
Currently, though, Udinese’s Molina and Udogie appear to be Juve’s two primary full-back targets. Teenager Udogie, who’s raw but has an incredibly high ceiling, has primarily operated as a left wing-back this season and is enjoying a productive second half to the season.
Five of his six goal contributions and all four of his goals have come in 2022.
Molina, meanwhile, has been a menace on the opposite flank. He’s notched 11 Serie A goal contributions this term and is also on Arsenal’s radar. The 24-year-old boasts a freakish profile: He’s ambipedal, versatile, athletic and an impressive striker of the ball. Some of the goals he’s scored this season have just been remarkable.
Molina, who’s said to be valued at around £25m by the Zebrette, would be some coup for Juventus.
