With the January transfer window coming closer and closer to an end, all eyes will be on what moves Juventus makes to sure up the roster for a final push towards the top of the table and winning the Europa league.
There have many players linked with a move out of Turin this window. Weston McKennie seems to be one of the players who are most likely to move. Yet, some big clubs in Europe have their eyes set on another player on the roster. Many outlets have reported that teams like Arsenal and Manchester United are keen to sign Dusan Vlahovic away from Juventus before the January window closes.
If Juventus were to sell the talented 22-year-old, they would most certainly make a ton of money. This would make sense considering the club’s financial and legal woes. From a team perspective, however, this would be a major step back for a roster that needs to keep its youth if they want to compete with the top clubs in Europe.
Juventus signed Dusan Vlahovic from Fiorentina last year. Since then, he has been incredible for the club and should stay in Turin.
Vlahovic has 7 goals in 15 matches across all competitions this season (stats courtesy of FBref.com). He should generate double-digit goals quickly upon his return from injury. He is a player that should be untouchable for this club.

And yet, Juve may sell him if the price is right. The new board of directors will certainly want to right the financial ship a bit before they make any big, splashy signings to improve the squad. Selling Vlahovic would certainly help with this. It could also represent the first major mistake that this new leadership team makes while in charge of the club. With a new board taking over the club, they need to surround Vlahovic with more quality players instead of getting rid of talent.
If Juventus were to sell the talented Serbian, it would be a huge mistake.
