Juventus drew 3-3 with Atalanta in their first match since their 15-point deduction penalty was administered.

This match was filled with fireworks. It was a wonderful back-and-forth between the two sides that resulted in a 6-goal thriller. Atalanta struck first when Ademola Lookman put the ball in the back of the net in the 4th minute. Angel Di Maria, who looked great in the first half, tied the game up on a penalty kick. A few minutes later, Arkadiusz Milik struck off of a perfect cross from Nicolo Fagioli to put the Bianconeri ahead. They kept the lead into halftime.

After the break, Atalanta struck twice in quick succession with another goal from Ademola Lookman and Joakim Maehle. Danilo tied it up in the 65th minute which proved to be the end of the goal-scoring for the evening.

Both Juventus and Atalanta were great in the attacking third and the match was great to watch even for neutral observers.

This was an exciting match as both teams did a great job putting together a quality attack. It certainly was a little disappointing for Juventus, who had one of the best defensive records in the league, to give up so many goals.

Most importantly, however, the team seemed to respond well considering the point deduction news from earlier in the week. Many fans were wondering how the team would look considering the news, and they responded in a positive way.

Another positive out of this game was the return of Juan Cuadrado who had been out with an injury. It was only a cameo appearance, but seeing him back on the pitch is great news for the team, who could use more reinforcements to finish the year strong.

Of course, it’s a shame that Juventus dropped points considering their place in the table following the punishment. Yet, there were a number of positives to take out of it and they were able to move up one spot.
