Juventus has completed their obligation to make Moise Kean’s transfer from Everton permanent. The club has signed the Italian striker for €28 million, completing the two-year loan.
Kean has not been the highlight of the Bianconeri over his time back at the club after leaving in 2019. However, the young striker has shown shining moments glimpsing into what many fans expected to see from him. Moise Kean has appeared in 74 matches for Juventus in his return to the club and has scored 13 goals in this time.
Through 23 matches this season, Kean has started 9 of them for the club scoring 5 goals in the process. Most recently and notably though Kean was sent off with his first-ever career red card in domestic league play. Being subbed into the match against Roma, Kean picked up the card just 40 seconds into his time in the match.
What comes next in the Moise Kean saga?
Although Juve completed their obligation to sign the young Italian striker, the club does not seem fully satisfied with his play. This deal seems to have been set to happen from the very beginning of the loan agreement. Will Kean actually be staying in Turin though?
This signing may just be a temporary move for the Turin club. The young striker will receive interest on the market over the summer window and Juventus may look to recuperate the money spent on Kean.
Time will tell what the future for Kean and Juve holds. For now, the young striker will be playing as a full member of the Bianconeri to finish out the 2022-2023 season and Europa League run that the club is on.
