Juventus is set to take on SC Freiburg in the second leg of their round of 16 matches this afternoon.

In the first matchup, Juventus was able to secure a 1-0 victory. While they weren’t incredibly dominant, Juve was able to finish the job and get the win. SC Freiburg will be looking for a stunning upset today to turn the tables on the Bianconeri.

As it looks increasingly more likely that the path to Champions League football is through winning the Europa League, Juventus will need to ensure they don’t lose today to make it through to the quarterfinals.

Considering some of the games that Juve had played over the last few weeks, Juventus should be able to put up a goal or two to help solidify their lead on aggregate. Of course, no team should be taken too lightly. Juve has had a good run of form, however, and that should carry over.

Juventus should be able to finish the job this afternoon against SC Freiburg, even if there are a few injury concerns.

Juve will be a bit shorthanded in this one. Paul Pogba, Alex Sandro and Leonardo Bonnuci are both out of this one due to injury.  It also seems that Federico Chiesa and Angel Di Maria may be limited. Max Allegri will have to be creative with his selections, notably in defense. Otherwise, the team should be quite solid today.

At the end of the day, there is very little threat out of SC Freiburg. Juventus should be able to secure their spot in the next round.
