Juventus’s season keeps getting more and more complicated.

According to multiple reports, Juventus has been deducted 10 points as a result of a new trial in their false accounting case. This punishment comes after an initial 15-point deduction was suspended in the last few months. Because of this new punishment, Juventus slipped to 7th place in the Serie A table. The team is on the verge of missing out on any European competition next season.

Juventus had been in 4th place before the point deduction, firmly in a Champions League spot. They now sit at 59 points which is one behind Roma for a UEFA Conference League qualifying spot. They are still 5 points out of the Champions League.

This deduction could prove to be huge for the Bianconeri who are coming off a disappointing loss to Empoli. They only have two games left in the season to find their way back into a European tournament. In order to do that, they will need a bit of a miraculous turn of events.

The Bianconeri have a tough job ahead to make it back to European football and they will need a little bit of divine help to get them there.

Juve plays against A.C. Milan this coming Sunday and ends the season with a match against Udinese. These two matches are certainly not easy wins. They are, however, potentially huge in shaping the final table.

Milan currently sits in 4th place, 5 points ahead of Juve. If Juve can pull off the upset, that will put them in striking distance of the top 4, assuming the teams in between them lose as well. Then, a win over Udinese and a Milan loss to Verona could give them a shot to overcome this point deduction.

Of course, this is all speculation and Juve has not done well when their backs are against the wall this season. Yet, the team will need to do whatever they possibly can to keep their European dreams alive next season.
